What is this Windows 7? Is it Vista? Why is it announced so quickly after Vista? Is there anything special to it, ie, a special edition of Vista?

okay so i just got a dell studios xps 13 and i always see those really cool commercials where you have 2 windows up and they spread it out where each one takes up half the screen. so how do you do it. also i saw them have like 5 windows up and they would shake one of them and the rest would disapear then they would do it again and it would reappear . how do you do that . also how do i turn down and up the brightness on my keyboard. if you know any other windows 7 tricks let me know to andexplain how you do it thank you

I am using Windows 7 64 bit version, and when I try to install iTunes, it won’t let me install it. Any suggestions?

i tried winamp, i loved it, but it takes up too much room and made my computer slow. i have realplayer, but i dont like it, not many skins i can use. and i dont like to use windows media player
i will mostly be using it for playing mp3s

Hey everyone, I was downloading something and disabled avast on-access scanner. After I finished downloading it, I turned back on Avast like 10 minutes later and I suddenly had about 60 viruses/trojans etc swarming my computer… I ran Mbam, and STOPzilla and removed almost all of the viruses. I still have some problems though.

Problems : On my desktop, there’s a white screen that says Microsoft windows has experienced an unexpected error. As a precaution, your Active Desktop has been turned off. And when I click on Restore my active desktop, the desktop goes black for half a second and brings me back to the exact same desktop [The white screen with a triangle and a exclamation mark on it].
Also, When I right click on my desktop and click properties, it says that the system admin has disabled the display control panel.
I’m missing some desktop icons [about 8-10].
When I go to Google and search something then click the link, it goes to either a advertising place, or some other search engine that probably has malware on it, or it just says ‘Page load error’.
And then, my Microsoft XP windows skin looks its from windows 98, so I can’t change it unless I go to properties on the desktop.
So that’s everything , but I also think that I still have some viruses that Mbam and STOPzilla couldn’t detect [I'm currently running avast, so i'll tell you if it catches a virus]. If anyone knows what’s causing this, and how to remove it safely without destroying my computer, please tell me T.T Also, I had to remove STOPzilla 5.0 [I payed for it *cough* crack *cough*] because it caused some errors that restarted the computer 5 minutes later. But I deleted the registries so its all good. So if anyone could answer it, and what I can do to uninstall it, please tell me.
