Previously we mentioned about Microsoft Windows My Documents folder, its characteristics and how some of us would have scrutinized it – dumping en masse pictures, music files and videos into it.
One disk, one drive
I have to mention that a typical Microsoft Windows operating systems (OS) installation creates only one drive (you guessed it – the C: drive). Since the launch of Windows 95, all versions of the Windows systems comes installed with folder called My Documents. It can be found on the same drive as the Windows Operating Systems, usually on the C drive or simply C:\.
Purpose of My Documents
This My Documents folder is created for each user on the computer, where most applications especially by Microsoft defaults as the folder in which to save files into. These files include images (.jpg, .gif, .bmp), music (.mp3, .wma), video (.avi, .rmvb) and other common documents from the Microsoft Office (.doc, .xls, .ppt) suite. Read the rest of the entry...

Here’s a good product I’d like to recommend. It’s called Registry Easy. As the name suggests, it’s related to the Windows registry.
This product is an excellent Windows Registry Cleaner that scans your personal computer and safely cleans errors and invalid entries which slows the system down. Problems like Windows runtime errors, javascript errors, Windows startup errors and such can be fixed with this tool.

We do a ton of typing, (or at least our processors do). So when I came across this list of Windows XP’s shortcut I automatically thought it would be a great thing to share with you. These have saved me a ton of time. At first I hesitated to use them, but I started with one, then another, then another. Enjoy!
